  1. Janet Harris says:

I think they have made Elsenham and Stansted suffer enough recently and to top it , today ! Poor Elsenham , poor Stansted. Anything that they dump on Elsenham directly affects Stansted! The motorway shuts , it will affect Stansted, but who cares , not the planning committee , as long as the quotas are met somewhere, and not in their backyards. Sorry, very ,very aggrieved!!!

  2. place your bets here – I do not give very good odds though as my money would be on them approving every damn one of those applications on the 2nd. Stansted will have therefore 200 houses approved on top of the not yet finished 700 up at forest hall. And with the 100 of houses approved in elsenham and if Fairfield gets the nod make that 1000s I wouldn’t try and drive through Stansted any time soon, you could still be waiting 3 years later when the building actually stops and the people move in and then who knows what state we will be in? but fear not good residents the 5 year housing supply is well and truly over dealt with so that’s alright then isn’t it?!?
