Planning Application: Thaxted (47), Wedow Rd; Hoar (UTT/13/1170/OP)


Development of up to 47 homes, including 40% affordable (13 socially rented, 6 intermediate), on farmland directly to the east of Wedow Road and Weaverhead Close in Thaxted. The site is not one that has been allocated for new homes by UDC as part of their emerging draft Local Plan.

Outline Planning permission was refused for this site in 2013. The Applicant appealed the decision and the Planning Inspectorate overturned the refusal in May 2014.
